My newest developments this past week.

Mom has been a bit slow posting my new developments since she had a bit of the tummy flu but she is getting better now so i've gotten on her case to post these videos. I am eating like a horse and eat at the table when everyone else eats. I usually drink 200cc of formula which consists of 2 scoops of rice cereal, 5 scoops of lacto- free formula, 1 scoop of rice meal, and 1 scoop of goat's milk. Then I have about half a baby jar of either banana-apricot or peach,apple and biscuit. Everyone says i'm getting more meat on me- ahahaah. mommy definately thinks that my legs are resembling tree trunks- well at least thick branches... This past monday, on the way back from the nanny's, I surprised mommy by clapping my hands for the first time ever. So while mommy was stopped at a red light, she captured my shining moment.

Then on Friday, I did this! I was pretty impressed with myself and so was mommy.

Our last evening in Singapore

After a busy day at Sentosa, we came back and Uncle Joe took mommy to see a movie at Vivo City shopping complex. This was good since I got to have Auntie Megan all to myself and that was so perfect. Best of all, I got to play with Twilight in the playroom and in the bath!!!

By this time, all my bad poopies had gone away and I was having a blast. Auntie Megan read to me and tried to give me my bottle but I had a bit of a hard time going to sleep cuz I missed mommy a bit but then Gong Gong came in and I felt a bit better so by the time mommy got home I was fast asleep. Then next morning, everyone had a wonderful breakfast, and then we got moving to the airport. I slept most of the way of home and woke up on the High Speed Rail back from Taoyuan Airport to Taichung. Along the way, I played happily with the ball that Auntie Megan gave me.

We got home pretty late and all of us were tired and went to bed.

It was such a super fun time in Singapore!

Underwater World Oceanarium- Sentosa Island

Evening of Friday, April 4th and Saturday, April 5th

After the zoo, we made our way home to wait for cousin Parker to get home, have a quick shower and get ready to meet Uncle Joe at a Japanese restaurant.

As we were playing, I discovered how to get up stairs.

Then Holis and Twilight decided to do an impromptu lion dance. Very impressive

Soon Parker came home and we took a taxi to the restaurant to meet Uncle Joe. Ama, Gong Gong and mom said the food was soooooooo good!!! I had just had my bottle and food at home so I wasn't all that hungry.

Afterwards, we came back and got ready for bed. Mom put the single mattress and my mattress on the floor so we could sleep comfortable. Then as mom was changing my poopy diaper, I managed to crawl away onto mommy's mattress and just as I sat down another bad poopy came out. Woops. So it was into the bathroom for a quick rinse and wash in the sink.

Mommy and me felt really bad since we had been asking Yahti, Uncle Joe and Auntie Megan's maid to do alot of laundry. She was so nice and kind about it!!!! Mommy even gave her a big hug to thank her.

Auntie Megan came in and gave mommy some really good organic baby powder and diaper rash cream to try. It smelled very nice.

Then it was bedtime. We were both super tired and fell right asleep. No more bad poos after that.

The next morning, when we got up, our clothes were all clean lying folded outside our room. Yahti is amazing!

We got up and went down for breakfast and I ate 3/4 of jar of apricot and banana. Yummy! Then I tried some organic goats milk with my rice cereal and mixed ground rice powder. I wasn't all that sure about it but managed to finish most of it. I also think the yogurt helped my tummy alot since for the rest of the day, my bad poopies disappeared. Also the cream and powder did wonders for my sore bum. It was all but cleared up!!

We decided after breakfast to go to Vivo City Shopping Plaza to take the MRT (Metro Rail Transit) to Sentosa Island. Can you believe that we boarded the MRT in the Plaza?!

Then we arrived and took a short bus ride to the island. It was super hot and sunny. We took a group photo infront of a huge Merlion statue (that is not in the pictures-silly uncle Joe!)

This is what the Merlion Statue looks like and it was right behind us. You can even walk to the top of its head but we didn't because it was way too hot.

Just before we got on the bus, we all played in the kiddie water fountains. Twilight dove into the water and on the bus to the Aquarium she was playing with her tummy folds so mommy took a picture but missed. There is Uncle Joe and Gong Gong behind her. In the queue for the bus to the aquarium.

First Day in Singapore

Friday, April 4th

We got to sleep in cousin Parker's room and mom and I squished on the single bed even though I had my mattress so she didn't sleep all that well. Plus I had the bad poopies still so she had to help me change my nappy several times.

We both awoke to children laughing and talking and got up. Mom took me into the bathroom and we had our very first shower together. It was pretty interesting but my bum was still sore so I wasn't that pleased when the water hit it.

Then we got dressed and went downstairs. I got to meet my cousins Twilight, Holis and Parker. Parker was waiting for his school bus and soon rushed off to school. Holis took a special day off just to hang out with us! Uncle Joe had to work so he had already left before we had gotten up.

Then we all sat down and had breakfast. Aunty Megan was giving my cousins yogurt so I decided to try some. Ama fed me almost an entire tub!!! Strawberry yogurt is yummmy!!!Then afterwards, I had my formula.

Auntie Megan and Twilight and Holis gave me presents! A wooden hippo and a special ball that Auntie Megan hand made for me. I gave them their presents. Flipflops. Twilight loved hers. They were pink and sparkly with Hello Kitty on them.

Next we got ready to go to the Singapore Zoo. Auntie Megan called two taxis one for Ama and Gong Gong and one for us kids and moms.

When we got to the zoo, Auntie Megan got our tickets and we went it. Right away, we saw some monkeys and then a huge parrot! Auntie Megan and I got to see it up close.

Ethan was still feeling a bit out of sorts. Not enough sleep, sore bottom and bad poos.

There were some monkeys swinging all over the trees. It was cool and below there was an crocodile sleepin in the shade. Cousin Twilight wanted a closer look so Ama held her up. Then WOOPS. One of her flip flops fell into the water.

(What you don't see is there was a sleeping crocodile on the right side of the shore.)

Twilight was really upset since she really loved her new flip flops but luckily there was a very nice man with a huge net attached to a very long bamboo pole that scooped out it out.

Next we visited lots of animals

These orangutans were actually a meter away from us. Just hanging on the branch eating durian.

I was sitting on mom's lap while watching the elephants and had a bad poop. All over myself and my jeans. Poor mom. She had to change me , wipe off the poop on her jeans and we carried on. She was more worried about me but I was just a bit upset about my sore bum is all .

Then we moved on to see the white tigers but by then I was pretty tired so i took a quick nap on gong gong.

Afterwards, we walked back to the front and had some pizza and took the taxi to meet Uncle Joe for dinner. So I will ask mom to post pics from our dinner in a bit.

Ethan's First Plane Ride

Thurday April 3rd. Mom got off work early and went to a few stores to pick up some baby food for the trip. Then hurried back home. I was still at the nanny's and still having diarrhea but relatively happy except for nappy changes cuz my bum was so red. Then they all came to pick me up and we went to the HSR (High Speed Rail). I slept most of the trip to the Taoyuan station. The shuttle bus got us to the airport in 15minutes and we checked in. We arrived an hour before our flight and I got a nappy change and a feeding. Mom decided to stop giving me my tummy medicine because we think it could have caused the diarrhea. Then we heard an announcement that we could board the plane. I was still a bit sleepy cuz I still needed about 2 more hrs of napping.

On the plane, tI did manage to fall asleep for a bit but they kept the lights on so i ended up waking up. The plane was a bit too exciting. Infront of us there were two Singaporean/Taiwanese and boys, Dylan and Kieran. I got to play with them for most of half the trip.

We arrived in Singapore at 11pm. Right on time and Uncle Joe was there to pick us up. We got a taxi back to their house and all of us got ready and went to bed. The first thing we noticed was it sure was alot more humid and hotter than in Taiwan.
