Easter was so wonderful. On Thursday,Grandma Mary arrived from Beaaconsfield soon to be followed by Uncle Dan, Uncle Josh, Leila and Tara who came down from Manchester and the weather was amazing.
Saturday, we went Whittington Horse Races. Chairs, tables, and lots of food were brought out and a great time was had by all. Ethan actually had his nap outdoors in the sunshine and awoke to tons of people cheering on the horse they bet on.
On Sunday, Uncle Rob and Anna joined us and we had a 2 great Easter egg hunts. One for Mama and Papa Zee and grandma and the other one for us big kids and Ethan. Lots of chocolate all around and amazing food.
.We also celebrated Uncle Rob's birthday early as him and Anna were going away for his birthday.
Yesterday was a huge day for Ethan as we casually embarked on potty training. He was training pants for most of the day and was very keen to use his potty. He decorated his blue potty with Go Diego Go stickers and we put up his Go Ethan Go, Diego sticker chart on the bathroom wall. He likes to sit on it facing the back of the potty which is quite cute. He went a total of 6 times on his potty and each time afterwards got loud claps and praise and ofcourse got to choose a Diego Sticker to put on his chart. We were very proud of him.
As we were all in high spirits after the potty training, we had a chat with Ethan and asked what he thought of staying in his own Diego bedroom that night.We moved the toddler bed out of our room and into his and put a single mattress down for me to keep him company and his first night in his room went very smoothly. I will gradually move the mattress further away and completely out of his room... s
