Wow! Another week gone by!

Hey all,

Time to play catch up again. I honestly can't remember what we did last Friday. Oh wait, yes I can. Ethan and I spent most of the day playing at home. Then we brought him over to A-Ma and Gong Gong's place so we could go see the TRANSFORMERS movie. It was sooooooo good! Go see it!

Saturday, Ethan and I went over to A-ma and Gong Gong's place to hang out for most of the day while Adam worked at home. Ethan managed to pee on A- ma's bed during a nappy change. Haha. Gong Gong worked for most of the morning and then came home in the afternoon. Later,I went to get my hair rebraided because I was starting to resemble a cotton bud.

Sunday, during the morning while Ethan and I were playing, I heard a truck with an intercom system spewing "Fix windows, fix screen doors" in Chinese. Since we needed our screen doors fixed, I quickly ran to the balcony window and jotted down the number on the roof of the truck. Then I gave A-ma a call and asked her to ring him and then if she could come over and oversee the work. Sure enough, minutes later, the window/screendoor guy was at our door. A-ma arrived soon after and 2 hrs later- we had 4 screen doors re- screened and a new screen door added to one of our balconies. It must be said that the Taiwanese are great at fixing things in record time!

Monday, Ethan went to the hospital for his 2 month checkup and 4 in one vaccinations plus polio drops. He got weighed and measured. He is 5.5 kg and 61 cm. Gong Gong took him in to get his shots and drops and he was so brave. Ethan gave two little short cries and went to sleep. Then he proceeded to sleep most of the day which was nice. We put the car seat into its sitting position since he pretty much hates it when it is in the lying down position and went for a drive to my high school so I could sign a contract for the new term. Then on our way back, we decided to buy lunch for Daddy and bring it to him at work. He was so happy to see us!

Yesterday, A- ma came over around 11:30am and hung out with a very active Ethan. He was up from 8:30am until about 1:30pm. Then he went to sleep for an hr and was back up wide awake as ever. I guess he got a little too much sleep on Monday. We hung out for a couple of hrs and then got ready to meet Prudence at a nearby shopping mall called Tiger City. We got there an hr early and just kinda window shopped. As we were shopping, I noticed a pretty woman looking at shoes. It was Prudence and her husband Shane was with her. (What a wonderful surprise.) We chatted a bit before going down to Starbucks and Adam met up with us soon after. We had teppanyaki for dinner which wasn't very good but just being able to hang out with her and her husband was wonderful. They are going to Hong Kong for a week and then coming back to Taichung for another two weeks and will be here when Grandad and Grandma Zee come to visit.

Then, we went home and daddy gave Ethan his bath. A tired mommy rocked him in his sling until he was asleep. Last night, we tried to nurse and put him into his moses basket right away rather than let him sleep on us for hrs. IT WORKED! He woke for 3 feedings and then right into the basket. I got to sleep 6 hrs!!

This morning, he woke around 8:00am for a feed. I put him in his basket but he awoke and daddy took care of him so mommy could get breakfast and a shower. Then Daddy got ready for work. We nursed a little bit more and he went down for another nap. It's now 10:30 am and he is just waking so i've gotta run. I'll be posting more pics soon. (When I get the chance.)
