Wow. Has it been that long already?
My apologies to all who have been waiting for Ethan's weekly posts. Adam's parents have arrived and are leaving this coming Sunday. Our wedding anniversary. The past two weeks have been filled with fun, laughter and tears.
Mama and Papa Zee have been on a tour to Sun moon lake, Lugang and Sanyi with Adam. Ethan and I stayed home - it was the night of the earthquake- so it was a bit frightening for us. The Zees also visited the hotsprings in Guguan with Ethan and I.(Pictures to post soon) Ethan really enjoyed floating in the children's hotspring at the hotel.
It has been so enjoyable having them visit and help out with Ethan. Adam and I even managed to get a few hours to ourselves a couple of times.
Some other highlights to mention were CROC shoe shopping, all of us got a pair except for Adam and Gong Gong but we are working on them. Also, shopping for eyeglasses, getting their hair washed with a massage, taking family portraits and learning how to pour tea traditionally using special utensils and fragrance cups.
As for Ethan, he has developed both physically and emotionally in huge leaps and bounds.
He smiles at us with his mouth wide open, has started making lots of sounds- oohwaas, mahmahmwa, wahhs, oohs and of course really loud farts. He has learned to turn from his back to his left side and has discovered the fingers on his hands are really good for sucking. He also likes to wake mommy and daddy up in the mornings by lifting his legs up at a 90 degree angle and slamming them down on the bed to make the bed shake. He has also grown longer and heavier.( My poor arms are sore...heee) His face is getting slimmer most likely due to his head getting bigger and his hair is growing out on the sides so fast that he is going to need another haircut soon.
Okay enough blabbing from me.Time for the pictures. I promise to write more soon!
Joanne
