Let me start by saying that this blog is intended for family and friends to let them know about Ethan and then our family's going ons. As this is something Ethan may read in the future, I have tried to kept it lighthearted. After much thought and consideration, Adam and I still believe that we should keep this site for Ethan and will no longer be mentioning anything that doesn't have to do with Ethan.
I thank everyone for your well wishes, prayers and support for Adam, Ethan and I and I ask that you continue to do so.
The following are pictures are from Ethan's first Halloween event. ( Which included dressing him up, taking the photos and going to the hospital to be with daddy.) Ethan was very happy to see his daddy and vice versa.

Adam had the idea to put Ethan(spider) in the baby carrier so he would look like he was on the spider web (me). Very cool idea daddy!

What a cutie! We will send pics of Taylor and Jackson soon, as it is our trick or treat night tonight!
I think that the decision you made with regards to this just being ethan's blog site is great!! That said, please keep us updated as to what's happening with Adam's health whenever you can (eg email)!

Dear Kelsey and Everyone else who might be enquiring about Our Precious Son ADAM.
Pam and I take great delight in the pictures of Ethan.
However in the light of Adam's serious condition - he has Chronic Kidney Failure first diagnosed at the beginning of October - I wish to fill in the details for you all bearing in mind that I am in the UK but in almost daily phone conversation with Adam.
Adam was due to fly into London Heathrow on the evening of Thursday 25th October. However on Tuesday 23rd(UK time) a decision was made in consultation with both Kidney specialists in Taiwan and in the UK that Adam was not well enough to travel.Consequently he has been in hospital having undergone a blood transfusion and dialysis.
Adam is now out of hospital much more stabilised awaiting further test results.
We are hoping that once this has strengthened him enough he will be able to fly safely to the UK in order to eventually have a Kidney Transplant.
Pam and I and Joanne,Adam and Ethan thank all who are concerned for their prayers and well wishes.
Much love to you all,
Richard Zahler
