Hello all,

Our very last day in Taiwan, we went to pick up Ethan from the nanny's. Then we (Gong Gong, Ethan and I) headed for the High Speed Rail which took us to Taoyuan airport. Ethan was excited when we arrived at the High Sped Rail to buy our tickets.Ethan loved the airport check in area as well as all the boarding gates. He went down every aisle between the chairs and would walk up to strangers and say hi.

Here is Asung (Nanny Tang). Saying goodbye to Asung was really hard for me and Ethan. Asung was obviously so sad to see him go.

A special moment with Gong Gong.

Ethan loved the airport check in area as well as all the boarding gates. He went down every aisle between the chairs and would walk up to strangers and say hi.

The flight started off well from Taipei to Hong Kong. Then we arrived in Hong Kong, I discovered at the next boarding gate that I had lost my brand new cell phone and all of my contacts most likely on the plane. After a short burst of tears and a call to my parents, I made asked the Cathay Pacific airlines desk if they could search the plane for my phone. No luck.

Then we were delayed two hrs in Hong Kong because of an air conditioning problem with the plane. The only good news was that people got to use the business class lounge for free - the bad news - still didn't manage to recover my phone.

The two hrs went by quickly, Ethan feel asleep while waiting to re board the plane. The flight to Heathrow London took 12.5 hrs, we cleared customs with no problems and then we had to take a bus to the connecting flight to Manchester.

We had just enough time to get to the gate and Ethan decided to have a poop so we went to the changing room, changed him and then we're the last to board the plane.

Ethan was an angel -star on all of the plane. Eating, sleeping and laughing. He had baby food, pasta, egg, and yogurt on the plane. People were shocked at how well behaved he was and commented as we were deplane-ing how impressed they were with Ethan.

Adam arrived to pick us up at Manchester Airport and Ethan recognized him at once. Excellent! He was super vocal in our new "second hand car"- A dark green Rover - on the hr trip way back to his Mama and Papa Zee's place.

We were all greeted warmly but I was too knackered to take our arrival photos. We stayed up for a bit to meet Mama Zee, Papa Zee, Bruno the dog and then had a long nap.
Next to come, our first week in the United Kingdom.

Joanne
