February photos

February was even more fun than January with Ama, Gong Gong and the nanny and her family.
Ethan spent alot of time in shorts, his nappy or just bare bummed. The warm weather was a perfect oppurtunity to be outside and play with water.
The latter brought on a few funny moments.
Bare bum moments
- Realizing that a pee was coming and saying "pee pee" milliseconds before he let it go all over the hard wood floor. Pretty impressive puddles.
- Going up to Gong Gong while he was setting up the dinner table and saying "pee pee" and then peeing a small puddle at his feet while saving up some more. Then he went around to Ama while she was finishing cooking dinner and said "pee pee" and then peeing another puddle at her feet.
- Saying "pee pee" and then leaving a few drops here and there, then going into our bedroom. A few minutes later, he comes out, standing by the door with a worried look on his face. On closer inspection, there is a piece of poop on the floor inside our bedroom. Poor guy, must have been a bit of a shock to see something so big come out of him for the first time. LOL. Ethan with Kevin and Hank at the nanny's. The nanny and her family took Ethan to Wan Hee Gong. A park and museum dedicated to the Sept 21st earthquake that happened in 1999. He absolutely loved it.
Here he is playing Whack a Mole with the nanny and Da Jeh and even having a try himself.
He also liked listening and pushing buttons. Doesn't he look good with a stethescope. Hmmm. Maybe a doctor in the making.
Here you can see Ethan happily turning the wheel and poor Kevin trying to use the pieces to build up a building only to have Ethan turn the wheel causing an earthquake and shattering Kevin, Hank and their friends creations.
Some nice pictures with Ethan. The second one is Da Jeh. Ethan calls her Gou Gou which is cute because she isn't really his aunt.
Bath in a bucket. Ethan loved it!!
More bath bucket fun. He couldn't great enough of playing with water.
Ethan mastered going up and down Ama and Gong Gong's staircase in no time and Ethan making a funny face.
Ethan on the slide. He is getting braver and braver.
The Lantern Festival in Taiwan. Ethan with Gong Gong.
This photo is so cute but it must be said that an hr or so after taking it, Ethan rolled off the bed and was shocked awake. Ama was more shocked and was frantically shaking her hands and crying "Why would you do that? Who told you to roll off the bed, Why? Why?" I picked up a bawling Ethan and was silently shaking with laughter as I consoled him. Ethan was fine within minutes. Ama's nerves were shocked for the whole day and into the next. Poor Ama
This would only be the beginning of a series of accidents. One where Ethan was jumping on the sofa. Ama was at the other end and I at the opposite end nearest Ethan. She told him to "Tiao" (jump) and he did, diving over the sofa and bumping head first into the carpet over the hardwood floor. She shouted at me "How come you didn't catch him?!!!"and I yelled back "Why would you tell him to jump?!!" Again, Ama's nerves were shot and Ethan was fine within minutes.
Other bumps and scrapes included him doing a somersault of our bedroom sofa onto the mattress we were sleeping on and knocking his forehead on the side of the change table which gave him a colorful bruise, a scraped knee which turned scabby and red and a scrape which scabbed on his nose from having too much fun on his outing with the nanny. Needless to say he came back to England looking like he was beaten up. Not by me!!! So don't call Social services!!!
One of our last breakfasts outside. A wonderful photo with Gong Gong.
