It's not fun being sick

Monday Ethan went to playgroup with a runny nose but in high spirits. Then yesterday, still pretty happy but the evening was when his nose and symptoms got the better of him and we woke up at 2:00am miserable and he has been miserable since. This is actually the first time since he was a very little baby that he's actually been miserable and clingy and poorly. Usually, no matter how sick he is, he will still run around and play and be happy. This time is the opposite. Most of the day has been tears, and wanting me or Adam to keep him company or hold him. Anything he's had to drink has come out in a gush. Both Adam and I have taken showers and done 3 loads of laundry and he's in no mood for any food at all. He has a low fever and attempts at ibuprofen to bring it down have ended up in him getting dozy for a bit then he gets vomits it out. He missed playschool today which was a good thing. He really needs a good nap and rest but can't seem to get there. Hope he feels better soon. Both of us feel really sorry for him.
