Playtime outside during the last of May- beginning of June

Getting ready for his a walk. This is what Ethan does now when I say "Look at the camera and smile." "Come on Daddy! Horsey"
"Ahh! Like water mommy!"
Ethan has been enjoying the extremely nice weather we have been having. As well as playing his musical instruments indoors.
During the past few days there have been some great speech developements as he can now sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in its entirety and Starlight, Star bright(his two bedtime songs) , he can also finish off alot of the sentences in his Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs stories.
He also started saying his own prayers at night which is so adorable. They go something like this.
"Dear Lor(d), please let Josh do well. Amen" or if a relative or good friend is sick "Dear Lor(d), please make Daddy bettah. Amen."
It's so sweet because he does it separately for all grandparents, great grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins and some friends. (takes a few minutes.)
As for potty training, i'm not sure if we missed the window on it as Ethan is quite happy to pee in his underpants, poop in his underpants and pee on me when he is sitting on me without telling me that he needs to use the potty. Last month, he would tell us when he wanted to pee and would hold it in until I got him upstairs into the bathroom...
Today, he did a poop, pull down his nappy in the kitchen while helping Adam load the dishwasher. (No underpants today since we were going to visit a friend's - Anita and Stephen and their two boys, Joseph and Reuben), and freaked out Adam who lifted up Ethan's shirt and screamed for me to come help and wipe Ethan's bottom. LOL .
We shall persevere....
The visit to Anita and Stephen's was amazing. We had a spectacular time. Ethan watered plants, got water all over himself and had to borrow clothes and shoes while his own were drying in the sun, fed and chased lambs, got to sit and turn the steering wheel and gears on a real digger, helped rake some stones as they are building the inside of a barn into a house. Played on the numerous outdoor toys including a rocking horse, play tent and tubes, outdoor playhouse, push scooter, cars and garage- you name it. He had a fantastic lunch and chocolate chips cookies which Anita made while we were there. MMM! Delicious! He was so loving it. We came back (very reluctantly on Ethan's part) around 2:30pm and he promptly fell asleep in the car on the way back and is napping as I write this.
Fingers crossed that the hot temps come back (27 degrees!) as the weather looks like it's going to get rainy soon. My flowers are doing marvelous thanks to the rain and Ethan watering the plants. Carrots and lettuce doing well and tomato plants seem to be getting taller so hopefully will have a great salad in August.
More to come later.
